Adaptive Marketing LLC uses numerous "memberships", such as Passport To Fun, Today's Escapes, and Shopping Essentials (just to mention a few), to rob you through your credit card (s) without your authorization. Check your statements every month!!!
I was not receiving paper statements so that I could have e-bills sent directly to my bank for online bill paying, so I wasn't reviewing my American Express on a regular basis. Upon reviewing my statements for tax purposes I discovered that I was being charged $14.95 for 3 different "memberships" that I knew nothing about and had not received the first thing from them either by email or snail mail.
Now I am having to go through the trouble of reporting them and trying to get my money back. Just another drawback of using credit cards! Their benefits are dwindling rapidly.
