Like most younger people fresh out of college I work to pay my bills and I do a good job of paying them all off on time. Regretably, I've gotten very comfortable in how safe I keep my information. Little did I know that ordering flowers for a friend who was having a rough day would lead to credit card fraud/rip off.
I very seldomly check my statements, I only have enough time to concentrate on paying my bills and then running out the door to go and work some more. So, a month a go when I noticed a 12,95$ charge on my VISA I was a little perplexed. And furious the next month when it showed up again.
I did not sign up for any rewards program and did not authorize this company to debit my credit card every month for who knows how long now. And I've done my homework. There are HUNDREDS of reports for this same company running the same scam and yet they are still getting away with it.
All I know is that I'm going to my bank on Monday to try and get this sorted out and maybe I'll get lucky enough to get my money back.
