I understand that I had received a loan from the company. Unfortunately, I had some things happen, which has caused a delay in payment. I don't have any money at this moment, and I spoke to someone two weeks ago about my loan agreement.
I told the individual that I won't be able to pay until I received my refund from the IRS the end of April. Needless to say, today has broken the camel's back. I have been receiving numerous calls from Ameriloan company all day long, and had to turn my cell phone off because of receiving over 27 calls today. I have spoken to someone this morning as well, and was given the number to call the company to discuss this matter. However, these guys continue to call me back to back repeatedly.
This is wrong, and they have no business calling me in such a manner. They need to stop calling my work number and stop calling my cell phone over and over again. Once is enough! I was told 3 weeks ago that my account was going into collections and the district attorney in my area is going to handle the civil matter to have me
garnisheed.
Now, these people have these other people from some attorney's office calling back to back. First, of all it is illegal to say that the legal procedures have been put into action, and then contact me at a later date telling me I need to set up some type of deal to get this debt paid. I do know the law, and I don't know if they're in New Jersey or Florida. Which one is it? I want them to stop calling my job and my cell phone. They need to do what they have to do, and I will do my part by reporting Ameriloan to BBB and my Attorney General in my state.
