In 2003 I purchased a couch from Macy and was sold a warranty contract with Guardian. I have contacted Guardian twice and each time they refuse to clean my couch. The first time, they refused to send someone out, sent me cleaning solvents, when the stain did not come out they sent me a replacement cushion cover that does match the couch.
When I contacted them in 2007 to clean the couch they refused to clean the couch since there were more than 2 stains, I had 3 stains. After much haggling they will clean the couch or refund me my money — if I can provide them with a copy of the sales slip from 2003. I have a vallid warranty number and still they refuse. Macys has not been of any help to me in solving this problem. This is Macys vendor and as a customer Macys' should be able to assist in this situation.
