Millie Rose Flowers and Al Rose Pawnshop are owned by the same person—Millie Rose, an elderly woman who not only overcharges customers for all items in her mall store, but also regularly hires employees part time and does not pay them. She does not report any employee earnings to the government and both doctors and destroys employee payroll records so that she does not have to pay employees.
It is believed that she does this since she is planning to close her stores within the next year and it will be too late at that point for unpaid employees to get restitution from any governmental entities (since she is breaking both Ohio and Federal wage laws).
