I spent over $900 for merchandise I have never received

I placed an order for two pieces of Ashley furnitre with Lone Star Direct Savings in September. They cashed my check for almost one thousand dollars, and six months later I still have not received the furniture. I have consistently gotten the run-around from them. I have never in this entire ordeal received a call back from them when I have left messages. I always have to keep calling and now for the past month they will not even answer the phone when I call. I have twice gotten the explanation that the furniture was damaged, and had to be re-sent. We asked management for our money back after those two excuses and still no furniture, and they said no, that they would get our furniture to us. Then, when the furniture still did not arrive, the explanation was that the shipper just kept it in their warehouse for a month and didn't send it to us. Now, a month after the last explanation that they were going to go with a different shipper because the other company failed to ship the product, I still have not received my furniture, nor a phone call with any new explanation. Each time I have been given an excuse it has been because I have had to call them and ask where my furniture is. I don't know what to do. I have left messages for their management, and still no returned calls. I'm still without my furniture, and out almost a thousand dollars!
