Thinking about writing a how-to-book and publishing it on the web? So did I and it has been sold on mymommybiz.com for the past 4 years. Cool ha? Guess again, I have never received a penny for my efforts.
I was told I had sold 6 copies in the first 2 weeks my how-to e-book was hosted on mymommybiz.com and was promised payment through paypal for all sales monthly. However, I have yet to receive payment for any book sales. I even went so far as to purchase the book myself and again was rewarded with NO PAYMENT.
In the beginning "Jen", the sites owner suggested that perhaps the problem was with my paypal account. I did as instructed and changed my account only to never hear from her again.
I have tried to contact her many times from various computers and email addresses and she has never responded to my requests for payment, my requests for my name and book to be removed from her site or requests for a simple response in any form.
So if you are thinking about submitting your book to this bogus site DON'T! And don't purchase the book I wrote either *Start your own Children's Photo Party Business "Photo Memories"! By Debbie Berger for $16.99 * the material is out-dated. Ie: film vs digital.
Final thoughts, "Have some class, Jen. Remove my book from your site and PAY ME WHAT YOU OWE ME!"
