Normally I do not answer the door to solicitors but in this case, I was looking to subscribe to a children's magazine for our less fortunate little ones across the street. They are below standard reading levels and I thought Jack and Jill magazine would entice them to read more often. The young man selling these magazine subscriptions was quite friendly. His name was Kevin Palmgren.
However, it has been three months and we have yet to receive Jack and Jill. I paid $42.00 and my check was cashed immediately. This situation only supports why I never open the door to solicitors!
People, be AWARE! I doubt I will be lucky enough to see my $42.00!! I'm just glad I didn't order the other magazines I was considering!
