New Line Promotions and LH International Promotionz is a joke and a scam!!! I am a recent graduate froma top tier university onthe east coast. Being a recent grad i was super excited about getting into the work force.
After spending the holidays getting no responces from any oppurtunities. I finally got emails and a phone call from New Line asking me to come in for an interview. I happily accepted the interview.
I showed up monday afternoon excited for this new oppertunity. When i got there things seemed a little fishy already, but the reminder of brand names plastered on the walls reassured me for some reason. There were 8 people in the office for an interview so i figured this must be a cattle call. I deciede to stay anyway cause i need the money.
The frist interview last a total of maybe 10 min. Just asking me if i was ready for a new career, and if i understood i was going to have start from the bottom and work my up. I told them i have no problem with that, but it seemed fishy still. They told me to wait around and i would hear from someone to see if i got the second interview between 4 and 6.
At about 5 i heard from them giving me congrats for being selected for a second interview. I was excited cause i felt like i really impressed them. They asked me to be there the next day at 9:30 for a full day interview.
I showed up not knowing what to expect, and the room was full off us. 11 to be exact not count those that were there for first interviews. They paired each of us with an 'executive' and a frist day person. I was paired with a great girl though, and no matter what i think she was very compitent and reliable source of info.
They took us to a wells fargo and made us stand in front a them trying to sell Kid IDZ and medical release cards. It seemed weird to me that a non profit would be doing this with some sort marketing company. I lived and worked in DC for years, and i can tell what is a isnt a non profit org.
I stayed all day with my person and went back for the third interview that night. They gave me the position, and i was so excited and proud that i had made that much of an impression.
I got home that night and thanx to a tip from my friend i check them out on here and a couple more website. Everythign i read said that they were scam artist and they will make u work 60 to 70 hour work weeks and not pay you enough.
I took it seriously and when i went in there this morning i confronted them about it. Not only did they say that Scott williams has been accused of scaming in CO, but i read things that dealt with not only CO but in New Jersey to.
I told they they were full of it, and i was not fail for thier bull*t! I fully intend to send letter to any editor of any news paper in SD to have them expose this company for what it is a FRAUD!
They preach to that your going to be working for a non profit! What they dont tell u is that ONLY 5 % of the proceeds, OF SELECTED ITEMS, go to the non profit. And if i make a 35% comission that means 60% of the profits go to the company!!! I asked them myself many of the questions, and they really had no answers other than um and uhs.
Your not really doing something good when your taking the majority of the money for yourself. Larissa is a nice well dressed women, but Quantum which is affiliated with this company has been sited for this problem many times ALL over the WORLD! Do your research on this company!!! They are scam artist! Trying to make money of entry level employees, but guess what not this one. Hopefully i will or someone will expose this company for what they are. Do not wasted your time!!
