On careerbuilder among other job sites, New Line Promotions and evidently their so called parent company, LH International Promotionz hire fast, young, unsuspecting people for some type of marketing postitions.
I went to sharpen my interview skills, since next door was a staffing agency who had a position for me in software sales, a field I had been in for over 2 years.
The girls were not dressed professionally. They were all very young and not very experienced. The offices were sparse and just athletes photos up on the walls. Music, blasted from the speakers as the employees were singing to the songs.
While I was waiting, other applicants that came in to interview, all looked as if they just graduated high school or perhaps not even graduated at all.
The interview was short, explained nothing and told to wait between 2-4 for a call back interview staged for the next day that would take the entire day to shadow another employee while working to see the daily activities. Oh, and bring a note pad to take notes.
Working for a software company, I know how to research and find company sites for company information and management contacts. However, on these two sites, just the home page comes up with writing, headings and if you wanted to "read more", when you clicked, nothing happened.
My experience is that websites are for company's to intice new business, by allowing the browser to find out as much as possible about the company.in this case, it is to prevent you from finding out who is behind this scam.
Please, job hunters Beware!
If you think it's too good to be true, it is! Google it. You won't find it or the so called CEO listed on the door.
So if you are in San Diego and come across New Line Promotions & LH International Promotionz, delete!
