On August 4th of 2007 a saleswomen came to my door selling magazines. My 5 year old daughter loves her Turtle magazine so I decided to get her Humpty Dumpty magazine. The saleswomen was very friendly and told me about their points system. After talking to her I wanted to help... Since I rarely do things like this. I payed $40 by check and then she told me it was going to be $50 so like an idiot I gave her the other $10 in cash; however, I did receive a receipt for the check and cash so I felt okay about it at the time.
It is now the end of January and I still haven't received my daughter's magazine. At this point I know i'll never see it or my money again. When reading the receipt it says "ALLOW 120 TO 160 DAYS FOR DELIVERY" and the saleswomen told me it would be a couple of months before I received the magazine. It's been almost 6 months.
Now i'm out $50 and I feel like an idiot. I hope this company gets what they deserve. I've just chalked this one up as a loss. As for them, karma's a b*h.
