Shopping Essentials has taken monies from my checking account for about a year now, I recently noticed that my account was shorted some funds and as I went back through statements I noticed that every month there had been charges for $14.95 and on the statement the merchants phone# 888-999-0564 appears
So I called the # provided and a recording comes on asking me for my membership account# or if I'm new and would like to start an account. Never able to get a live person on the phone.
So I listen further into the pre-recorded voice and it offers a website of www.shoppingessentialsplus.com I go to that website and not a lot of info is provided, just that they offer shopping assistance.
So I google the name and I am directed here to complaint and see that I am not the only one but that I am one of several who are being scammed and taken for a ride by this company
I've contacted my bank on this matter before and have been told that charges will be taken off and will not authorize the charges anymore, so I trusted them and believed that they would take care of it.
Not so much true, other wise I wouldn't be here now, so I requested an investigation and now things are being taken care of properly and hope to have monies returned to me that were not authorized.
