Complaint / Review
Regional Adjustement Bureau
I recieved a letter about 7 months ago, at first glance you can see it was a scam, well 7 months later a phone call arrived stating i owe 1400 dollars, individual asks me about payment options, debit, credit, etc

I recieved a envelope around april of in the envelope was a check for 2500 dollars. It gave me instructions on how to recieve 180,000 dollars simply by just depositing the 2500 dollar check into my account. Any human being with any kind a sense could tell this is a rip off.

Seven months passed since the envelope and a phone call came, not directly to my house but my neighbors house, claiming that i owe 1400 dollars to this company called the Regional Adjustment Bureau. They claimed that they could not get in touch with me because my phone was disconnected, not only is my phone not disconnected but i have call waiting. I got on the phone with the woman named Alicia Lester, which she was very rude stating she wanted 850 dollars in a two day period.

Later that evening i told my boyfriend about the situation, so he decided to call Regional Adjustment Bureau, he asked for Alicia Lester which she was not present at the time so he got connected to this man who never stated his name. This unknown man stated he knew nothing of the situation then 6 seconds later knew everything about it and told my boyfriend that i dont owe 850 but 150 dollars and the only way to pay was by debit card or credit card. My boyfriend found this fishy, who wouldn't, but he kept talking to the unknown gentleman and got the information from him, address, who to make the payment to, etc.

The only thing the unkown gentleman didn't give was the ZIP code, so he looked up the company name, city, and state on the internet to get the ZIP code and found out it was another scam. He called back and got connected to the secretary and told her about the information he just found on their company and as soon as he said that he was going to file a report she put him on hold.

Low and behold he got connected to the unkown gentleman in which he told him about their scam and the unknown gentleman stated that it wasn't, so my boyfriend told him he was reporting him as he speaks and this unknown gentleman told my boyfriend, " Good day sir", and hung up the phone.
