Here is a back story of a loving family of 6. A disabled father, a young profesional Spanish teacher and there four pre-teen childeren. The ages are 6,9, 11,13 now but at the start of this tail they were three years younger.
They moved from a city far far away and had no place to live so they moved into a small moble home. They didnt like that moble home very much but made it home anyhow. There was a postman that over a timeline of a year kept telling the young couple that he had a house he would love for us to look at and rent if we wanted.
After a year of a moble home a house sounded good and they fell in love with it the first time they saw it. They moved into there wonderful house and paid a real low rent. The postman was a great landloard and inqured regularly about the couple buying this house. The couple fighting SSI diability for over 5 years said once the SSI claim goes through they would be able to make some sort of owner finance payment. Just until they can get a full out loan, at most 23 years from the date of wining the SSI case.
The postman over the three years talked to the couple over and over about the day they could buy the house and how nice it will be for him to retire. The plan was in motion for over three years.
Months ago the disabled man won his SSI case and was to get a liump sum payment to cover 5 years of fighting SSI. The postman was happy to hear this due to wanting to sell the house.
After two months of waiting the 4 months for the mans SSSI money, the postman brain a gentleman over to look at the house that wanted to buy it right then. The postman said that he had to give the disabled man first chance to buy and that in two more months he would be doing that. The disabled man was very worried and asked the postman if he wasnt going to be able to sell the house unser owner financeing. The postman would say over and over that we will work things out and it will all be ok. Well klnowing that they gentlman was wanting the house the disabled man m, ade sure anytime he saw the postman to ask if everything was going to work out and make sure he didnt need all the money at once instead of waiting two years of owner finance then getting a loan for the rest in twoi years. The postman kept say it was ok and it would be fine.
Well this is the aprt that just happened two days ago when thedisabled man took over a check and a contract for the postman to sign to buy the house, the house that the disabled man had lived in for over three uyears and had been promised that he would get the chance to buy it first! Well the Postman said he didnt know what he wanted to do and that he ahd to talk with his wife and see how much land he wanted to sell with the house and weather or not jhe wante4d to sell the small buildings on the lot too.
Well just yeasterday the postmans wife called the disabled man and said that this was a long time comming that for over 3 months the postman wasnt able to tell the disabled man that he was going to sell the house to the gentaleman. The disabled man asked if he came up with all the cash upfront just like the gentleman if then everything would be fine. The postman wont do that since he has made a verbal agereement wuith the gentalman.
Now all this in my opinion is a bunch of BS and I must say Im the disabled man and that the postman lied to me over and over telling me everythibng was fine and that it would work out. Well I made a list of everything that this will effect and Im sending to the postman so he see's what he really has done!
Keep in mind this postman was starting to get mad at the disabled man aboput stupid things over the last month and now we know why. He was trying to get me mad so I would leave. SO instead of standing up like a man he chose to lie and make up things to be amd at. What a joke of a man.
Anyone that knows this man or will know him at least think about what he did to this family and how he handled it. Please let him know how low it was for him to do this.

Things I would have done diffrent had you told me in a timely manner:
1. Not sign up for 24months DSL= $600 cancel fee!
2. Waited to get hot tub=$260 for them to move for me! I would have gotten a bigger model with the extra money from not buying the house!
3. Bought a newer Van=have a $3500 used van, would have got a $10000 newer van!
4. Not put in 6 celing fans=$300 wasted
5. Not bought a mower=$800 who knows if I will need it now?
6. No 4wheeler= $1100 wasted till I know if we can use it?
7. No trailer= $400 wait on that too!
8. No Wood= $400 for 10 riks delivered, I paid another $400 for 10 more that are sitting at the mans house!
9. Put in a sink water filter and garbage disposle=$200 wasted!
10. Bought paint for entire house to repaint and redecorate. $800 gone!
Things I should be givien an opertunity to do befiore you sell:
1. Try to get a loan - just try to see if now since we bring in alot more then we used to! You never know?
2. Have my father finance it for us, or to at least put the loan on his name and we pay the morgage (he is willing to do that since you pulled this oln us).
3. Some time to try! Just some notice to see what I could have offered you! But I didnt know, I wasnt told the truth!
If you were any type of true man you will read this last part all the way through and then instead of getting mad, understand what you have done to us.
You were told for over the last 10 months what we could offer you, nothing changed on my part over that 10 months.
I said for the last three months that if that amount wasnt going do. That you need to telll me and I will understand.
I told you I understood if you had to sell, just dont wait till the last minute to tell me. (thats when you always said, "everything will work out" and "Im always upfront" or " I tell it like it is") Not this time though! I said that during the gentelmans visit, "just tell me!", you replyed "your fine, there is nothing to worry about"! That was BS!
You sat there and lied to me over and over right to my face. How you could sit there, see all that wood delivered and not say a word? They only had brought 5 riks monday, they came back and dropped off another 5 riks the next day! I could have saved some money and time there! (you should have spoke up on monday)
You lied the last two times I saw you, right to me and my wife the last time. You told me you hadnt talked to your wife and you had no idea what she wanted to do. LIE!!! SHes the one that had to twell us the teruth cuz you were too much of a looser to do it.
You lied to me and my wife when I asked if you had talked to her on Sat. When we came to talk and you said again, nothing had been discused! LIE!
I told you I had a hot tub comming friday and you sat there and said nothing to me, Its here and now I paid $260 to have it brought here! $260 to move it again, Thanks! (should have said something, on thursday, ED!)
I made my kids wallow in crap over that broken window in your truck, and the whole time, after they wrote you letters and went down and clean and offered to work it off, here you already knew you were going to screw us and that makes me sick! (how could you look my kids in the face and take there letters and pictures without saying anything, Bad very Bad!)
On the 4 wheeler note. You can kiss my ass, how dare you make that comment to me, knowing that you were the one that had been lieing to me and had no balls to come and just tell me the truth. SO, instead, you get mad at me over a 4 wheeler! You really think it would be easyer to personaly attack me over a 4 wheeler that cost $1100. What a joke! How dare you say I could buy something better for my kids, implying that Im not a good father or that I dont look out for my kids! (hey my kids are fine and they love me and that is what matters. You may want to look at the example that you are setting for your kids! This situation alone is a hell of an example, ED!)
As for all the BS about us being young and that man having so much in common with you and that my kids will be fine and move on. Well you keep telling yourself that. Make it all better for yourself, none of that matters. We are not young, Im 37 and disabled so that puts me about your age Ed. How would you like to start over right now? My kids love this house and land, they are crushed, there little faces have been so happy latley with my money comming. Now, they know you lied and are mad at you over it, even a 6 year old knows that what you did to us was wrong. He asked why you didnt want us to buy the house, that he wants the house and he wants to ask you. Hows that make you feel. Me I feel like shit for him. I can only tell him that you did the wrong thing and that you will figure that out someday and that we will find another house, never one with everything we wanted like this house but a house that we can live in, not a home like the houuse we loved and was taken right out from under us. They had so much respect for you and that is all gone. Its sad to see that happen to such trusting kids! They say thanks Ed, right before there birthdays and xmas, to do this to us.
My father thinks you are spinless cowared and cant beleave that you wouldnt even give me a chance or that you couldnt tell me what you were thinking! He thinks you planed this and just used us for rent over the last 3 years. Hes right in my eyes! You should have never opened your mouth when we lived over at Arat rd. I would have rather lived there this whole time and be moving, then come here, fell in love and now we all are crushed! What kind of person does this, you have a black heart Ed and I will never trust another person in my life because of you! Thanks!
I have sent revised copys of this note, with a story about how a family was told and beleaved what they were told and in the end got screwed and with no thought, what so ever, to anything the family has done or was willing to do for the owner! Wont that make such a nice read for Cumberland county and Monroe county paper readers?
Thanks again ED, you have done so much wrong here and I hope you always remember us in your thoughts, how you screwed us over having no balls! However after talking to your family it looks like your luck and you will escape any memory of what you did. They will be the ones that hold this burden and remember that you scewed us over so bad. Since we you are in fact showing all the signs of alshimers disease. Yeh thats right Ed weather anyone has been up front with you or not, I will be! Your memory is going and Ive been around that many times and I know for sure that you will in 5 years not even remember your kids faces, let alone what you did to me and my kids. I hope your burden that you have put on your family was worth it? Hope you dont get screwed, and that gentalman strip mines the whole place or even better, takes and cuts all the trees and builds homes in 1/2 lots so that you have 50 houses rtight on the backend of your land. I have so many options at this point leagaly that you could be tied up with me for 2 years anyhow, just fighting to get me out of here. The witnesses i have about statments you have made about me buying the house and wanting me to buy the house and that everything will work out and we will find a way to make it work, all these staements have witness to them. I also have all the checks I have ever written and have proof that they were made in the attempt to buy this house at some point. I just want to say one thing thought. Im not like you, like some people and I wont put you through that due to the type of true man I am! Even thought you feel that im some kid you could screw over!

To bad your way of thinkiing about family first and money not being everything, is thrown out the window when money is in your hands! Hope it spends well! (even though my money would have spent the same wa, how faiir was that?)
