This is all "alleged" until we actually win the judgement against them.
In my opinion as their former landlord, you will regret doing business of any kind with these swindlers.
They not only abandoned the property in such a way as to invite vagrants to take possession (oh and the details of that may justify a warrant for their arrests according to local police dept.), but they didn't bother to give notice that they'd ended their tenancy until three hours before rent was due and they'd already fled the state. There was also damage and theft involved.
They left an incorrect forwarding address and made it clear in very smug way that they had no interest whatsoever in making ammends financially or otherwise.
They may present themselves as corporate executive/stay-at-home mommy but they are really just frustrated actors waiting on some kind of big break. Which means that all contracts and agreements will be considered null and void (in their minds) once a perceived better opportunity comes along. And since they love drama and can't get it on a set or stage, they'll be ever so theatrical in their business relationship with you!
In my opinion, they have absolutely no chance of making it in showbusiness as evidenced by their film Let It Snow. They also have zero chance of winning our pending lawsuit.
Again, this is all alleged until a few months from now when, I'm confident, it will be public record. I don't want any other landlords or anyone else to be victimized by these people.
