I was ripped off yesterday afternoon. I was approached by an Italian speaking man who offered to sell me "fine, Italian clothing" at reduced prices. The man told me that he was returning to Italy that evening and did not want to carry these goods back with him. He told me that he had been at a clothing trade show. I am kicking myself now because I actually drove to my bank to get the cash for several leather coats.
This guy really worked me! I speak Italian and because of this we had quite the conversation about the clothing, his situation, etc. Unfortunately, this made him seem more authentic to me at the time, and now I just feel like an idiot that got ripped off. It's embarrassing and frustrating.
