Off all the stories about this same company, I think mine ranks near the top so I'll start from the very start.
I was lying around one afternoon and my girlfriend's cell phone rings, mind we don't have a house phone, only her cellphone. She answers it and the phone to me with a puzzled look on her face, because I rarely get calls on her phone at all. I respond to the lady on the phone, calling herself, " Belinda " Belinda starts telling me all of this different stuff, talking a mile a minute.
Belinda tells me that she is affiliated with my bank, or something along those lines. She already knows who I bank with, that I do have a debit card through my bank and that I use it on regular basis. I never fall for things like this, but when she knew all of this, including my home address and how to contact me through my girlfriend's cell phone, I was concerned, so like a fool, when she asked me to confirm my debit card number, I almost didn't even think about it. It was all downhill from there.
Once she had my debit card number, then all of a sudden, I'm buy these magazines that I have no use for whatever. She was talking so fast, I couldn't get a word in at all and since she had my card number, I already knew I was screwed.
Belinda was very polite until this point until she shot me this price for these magazines. I was like, " Whoa lady, I just bought my first house, I can't be doing this. I care afford these payments you are talking." She got extremely rude then and told me she would cut the payments in half and just double the amount of months.
At the end of her conversation, she gave me a number I could call if I wanted to cancel because she wouldn't let me cancel on the phone. As soon as I hung up with her, I called the number, not to my surprise it was a dead line.
I called my bank, had them put a stop on my debit card, but the money was already being transferred. They just don't wait huh? My bank puts a stop on the card and after I hung up with them, I immediately called the police department, and told them the whole story. I gave them the company name and they made it aware so that's as far as I took it.
Two months have passed since then and just the other day I got a called from a man claiming I ordered some magazines from a company he is affiliated with and I had no received them yet. He was calling to apologize for the inconveinence. I made it blantantly clear that he could do me a large favor and cancel that order.
I just received the first magazine in the mail today with no sender address, so I figured it was time to make a report.
With numerous people on here already making a report about this company, there is no telling how many people they have gotten that don't know about this site. I believe the best thing we can all do right now is just let all of our friends know, so they can pass it on and hopefully catch these crooks.
