McLemore Advance Concepts, Inc. Is a complete scam!!! They advertise for PR and Event marketing and once thye lure you in to your 1st interview they sweet talk you with promises of an "upper level management" position within 6 months to a year. However, they are smart enought to prey on the recent graduates because they know how eager we all are to find work.
When push comes to shove, on your "second interview" they have you out selling D.A.R.E. Promo items that are usually FREE from the organization! Like I said, SCAM! Their "events" are setting up tables on the sidewalks of stores like Academy and Office Depot and stealing from people for items they can get for free. And ps - if you do fall for this, BRING YOUR CAR TO THE "EVENT".
When I realized what I had gotten myself into they had already drug me off to a location I was unfamiliar with and REFUSED to take me back to my vehicle. Catherine's (my oh, so lovely "trainer" who was all of 22 years old pretending to be a grown up) her only suggestion to me, "get a cab" when I asked if she seriously wanted me to PAY to get back to my car, her response was "yeah, most cab companies DO charge"& so, PLEASE save yourself some time AND money - DO NOT AFFILIATE YOURSELVES WITH THIS COMPANY!
It is a total crock and as soon as i figure out how, i will report them to the better business bureau. Until then, this is my only way of reaching out and informing those of us who are suspicious. Trust your gut! If it sounds too good to be tru, it is!
