Shady McLemore Advance Concepts = Attorney General Office Investigation (Soon)
When you are called to come in to McLemore Advance Concepts (or whatever their new name is today) for an interview make sure and show up an hour early. This way you can see the way Ryan operates his con artist. The Cult stuff: They run into an all white room and close the sliding door and Ryan proceeds to play some rap music, and then the dancing and chanting begins. It's really funny because it reminds me of Office Space when Michael Bolton is raping in his car, but you get the picture.
While the music is playing Ryan shouts the con artist shout back the same message several times, then the music stops the room gets silent Ryan looks up above the con's heads and begin speaking. He never makes eye contact, but he looks as if he is speaking to the upper deck of people in a stadium. The message he preaches is that of a faith healer / used car salesman / Tony Little (the guy that sells the gazelle workout thing) / day time TV lawyer commercial. As soon as he is finished they come out and start grabbing people to drag out to the field. Ryan says don't worry we will not be flying out to New York or Dallas today because you are a top prospect and we want to see what you have got inside, but the competition is stiff!
Just for fun ask Ryan about the pay, but try not to laugh! If you park your car up front they ask you to move it to the back of the lot, so all the other clients can park there.
TAKE YOUR OWN CAR TO WHERE EVER LOCATION YOU ARE GOING!!! Take your car because you will need it to drive home after 5 minutes harassing people. My experience was at an HEB. We set up in front of the NO SOLICITATION sign. I asked my con artist about the sign and he told me not to worry because we are not selling anything we are making people aware of the DARE program. WTF
The con artist then pulled out an old credit card reader. I asked what is that for he then got defensive about the questions I was asking. He then told me the manager at HEB was aware of what they are doing. I'll get back to this part in a minute.
The DARE table is set up and the candy & toys are out to attract little children to the table. Both doors of HEB are covered by the cons. The con that I am observing is calling to everyone that is walking by to come check out the DARE program. Few people come near others run away! The first victim is interested and soon the con begins his spill on the DARE program. HE BEGINS TO SOLICIT EVERYONE!!! He is trying to sell a $60 child protection kit, the Texas Department of State Health Services has a similar kit for FREE!
With one sale in the bag its time for lunch at Subway. The con takes a napkin and writes Ryan's business plan on the back, as he is drawing this on a napkin (Nice) it is starting to look like a pyramid. He soon finishes his Pyramid and I ask him about how they can legally operate like and make a living ripping off people. His response is it what we do!!! WTF
I asked to be taken back to my car and he refused because he was not ending his shift until 6:30PM. The other cons refused to give me a ride, so I went to speak to the manager of HEB. She was unaware of the solicitation and very angry about being deceived by McLemore Advance Concepts. The HEB manager came out and to them to leave and threatened to call the police. They packed up and ran! It was the best interview I have ever been on!
While speaking with the HEB manager she asked that I stay for a while so she can explain to her corporate office the details of McLemore Advance Concepts deception. The manager ask me some interview questions and then I found out that she needed a shift manager that has ethics and customer service experience. The manager offered me a shift managers position, yes I accepted it!
