To anybody out there that wants to know what Hyphire Solutions and the Smart Circle Company are all about, listen up and rap your head around this.
To best prepare you for your interview (if you have not already had one, and I suggest you dont go) is to check out a little flick called Boiler Room. I have owned it for years but didnt connect the dots till after I left the business. *Just a side note to all - they will tell you they have never fired or laid anyone off in the history of the company or business, but that people just leave. That is a lie. They merely force you out of the business by not giving you merchandise to sale, responsibility to help your business grow or just telling you to take a few days off to think about whether the business is for you, hoping you never come back. I know, I did it to people on a daily basis and then it happened to me.*
Back to Boiler Room. It has a lot of stylized dialogue but hits all the key points of what Hyphire Solutions and all the other companies under Smart Circle stand for. Here is how it will go.
*Are you tired of being the low man or woman. Are you tired of being an "employee". Are you tired of having a ceiling on how far, fast and high you can go in a company. If so, this might be for you. You set your own ceiling and pace at which you want to own a company. Lie. They controll you just like any other job and decide your destiny (unless you leave).
*Just like Boiler Room, they feed you lies. The difference is in Boiler Room they sell you fake stock to get rich. With Hyphire they sell you lies in order to make you stay so they to can become wealthy. Both are done in the same way, half truths and dodging questions. Watch the movie and belive me when I say, put yourself in the main characters shoes after he finds out he has been lied to and used to better other peoples lives instead of his own. If you do that, you wont go to that interview.
* Your whole worth in this company is to make others money and get others promoted, thats it. I started out in Sacramento, CA. For the Merramack Group and then expanded to Portland, OR. To help open Hyphire Solutions over a year ago. I was told I could be a manager in 8-10 months but i found it only happens under the right manager that posesses a think for yourself attitude, leadership skills, a backbone and a personality. Thats not what I got in Portland.instead I got the manager of Hyphire Solutions. A spineless, backstabbing coward that is an employee in a supposedly non employee business. If he truly owned Hyphire Solutions, then why does he take orders from other people and why are decisions made on what to do with "his" company made by others. He had to have 2 other managers fly out and force me out of the business due to the fact that he couldnt do it himself. The 3 others that came up with me were forced out as well because the managers blame how well the office does on the entry level worker, who has been there for only a week, not themselves. I thought being a leader, manager and owner meant owning up to your mistakes and taking responsibility for your actions and the actions of those around you. Not here, not ever. So when they ask if you want control of your life and future, think hard and walk away. Go with the stable 9-5 job that gaurentees you a paycheck, 401k options and a health plan. Not a commissioned based, 80 hour, 6 day work week where you might make $600 a week but most likely will make $350. Do the math on what that comes out to an hour. Learn from what I have learned, work to live - not live to work. And watch BOILER ROOM.
* If you do go in for an interview, ask how long it took that manager to become a manager and also his promoting managers. None made manager under a year, more like a year and a half to two and a half years. Also ask him how many managers he has promoted in a year. A big fat 0. I ate, slept and breathed the business for 6 months. Meanwhile, I lived with the manager for 6 months. I learned all the ins and outs of the very little good and the plentiful bad that the business has to offer. Get my point, Im not selling you lies to keep you out, just truth. They will sell you lies to keep you in. Good luck in your job search.
