On 2/7/07, two teenage boys came door to door selling magazine subscriptions. I do not remember what prize they were trying to earn but they wanted it badly. They came into my house, had snacks and then sold me $63.00 in subscriptions so that I could help them get closer to their goal. I then paid them in cash to give them additional credits.
They ripped me off and used my compassion as a tool to do so. This is a terrible thing to do. The people who run this company should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of unsuspecting victims. I feel stupid for falling for it. It does help to know I was not the only one gullible enough to fall for this scam.
