I tried to return a Car Battery to the Wal-Mart in Madison Alabama. It was tested in their battery department and was shown to be defective. It was still in warranty and the cash register showed when the battery was scanned that they owed me a $22.90 pro-rated value. The store manager admitted to me that Wal-Mart owed me the $22.90 but then he changed his mind and refused to return the money he owed me. I am furious that they can continue to steal from their customers with impunity.
This is a clear case of theft. Wal-Mart is refusing to return the money that the store manage admits they owe me. This is not the first time I have reported theft by this store.
