H.E.R.E.I.U. Pension Plan
Denial of Pension Benefits, though I qualify

I was employed in a restaurant in New York City and paying union dues to a Local 100 (Restaurant Workers' Union) through 16 years and now, after retirement, I am informed of denial of my pension benefit. Local 100 is located at 760 8th Ave, NY NY 10036. I am passed the required minimum age limit of 55 and currently disabled by social security. I sent in all the required paperwork in regards to this case, but seemingly, they have ignored my calls and appeal process. This delay has been put on hold since 1995. The bottom line of the case is that I am totally disabled through social security and therefore I am fully qualified at age 59, now.
