Great American Claim And Payment Logistics
Sent a very real check to cash & wire $ to an address in Texas where they'd cut loose w / $45,000.- Canada

I received a check yesterday, written by Great American Building Materials,
(Missouri Bank and Trust in Kansas City, MO)
I called the phone# and spoke with 2 very unproffessional people who told me that the use of my credit card had been entering me into this drawing and they had chosen me randomly to receive a 3rd tier prize award of $45,000. They instructed me to cash it, wire some of it to an adress in Austin, Texas and so on. They said a man would be coming to my home with a transfer book, not an actual check and then within 2 hrs the $ would be transferred into my bank account! (Somehow meaning they would be getting my bank info eventually (over my dead body!)
I haven't done anything with it yet.
I have read the reports and have the SCAM connections as in (the return address in Canada, etc.) Don't think I'll be falling for this one and I hope people who pull this kind of crap BURN IN HELL!!!
