I have been sooo scammed!!! I received a call from "1st National card services". The woman said that they were government affiliated, and were offering a new program to help people improve their credit. The name (1st Nat.) sounded familiar, so I listened. She went on to say how this was a card that offered all the benefits of a "normal" credit card. A card I could use anywhere for whatever I needed. It was not mentioned at all that this was an on-line catalogue only purchasing company. With a promise of $200 in vouchers for only $149, I kept listening, eventually asking "Why" would you do that?" "To help people as yourself", she said, again mentioning government programming. OK, under false pretences, I agreed. After receiving my "membership package" in the mail, I could see by the look of the card, the enclosed DVD, the paperwork, and the "monopoly looking" vouchers enclosed, that I had been taken! They're good! I asked many questions and was basically told what I wanted to hear. Lies! I called the company and explained that I was mislead and asked for a refund. Basically, was told there was nothing I could do about it. "Oh ya?" I thought! Watch me!!
