Heres how the game was played. Shoreline claims to only sell their shutters to individual shutter companys who (in turn) sell it with a mark-up. One of which was one which we contracted with (called Qwik Blinds). We payed them just under $6,000 for shutters.instead of 2-3 weeks, it took about four to five months, including time for replacing deficient shutters that could not be installed. At first the excuse was that shoreline moved, but later they said that it was because Quik blind didnt pay them. After numberous phone calls and letters, shoreline finally released our order to "installers" (company unknown). Seems odd that after four month of refusal that shoreline would now release our order on a promise from Quik.
After installation, I asked if I should pay shoreline but they said write check to Quik. I wrote a check for the remainng money to Quik Blinds. After that, Shoreline starts complaining that they didn't get their money from Qwik Blinds. And finally initiated a lien against our home in the amount of $4,297. Both companies say that the other is not telling the truth. Beware what you buy.
