Builder was on Kitsap Master Builders Recomended Builder list in January. I contracted him to build a small retirement home as I am 50% diabled Viet Nam Vet. And can not do the work myself. He promised we could build the small house if I took out the permits myself and he would pay me for any of my expenses out of the construction loan. As the job was finaly started after he had me modify the blueprints to his specs and many delays. He would call and have me make out checks to him for work done as the bank would not pay on time. He finaly had me sign to have the funds wired to him direct so we would save wire fee's and time loss on the house. I have worked around some shady liars before but these two are in a class of their own. They have never been able to pass any Mason County Inspections and now the Inspector will only come to the site for an additional service call fee. I do not know when I will be able to get my home finished as I have an irregular income and they have used up all of my set aside savings ($15,000) for landscaping and finish work and living expenses. The home should have been complete by Thanksgiving of last year and I have had to pay $1500 a month in interest as well as Extension fees and I hope somebody can put them away.
