Watch out for this for this company!
I'm writing this letter to beg your agency for help for my parents this builder has destroyed my family in every way that he could. My parents have been living with me since day one. I can not begin to tell you the stress and heartache this builder has caused in our lives.
My mother who went threw cancer battle that we almost lost her to came threw thank god, and then a few months later her home burned down. This was nightmare to her she lost everything she owned. This builder is killing my mother I am so sick and tired of seeing her cry and being depressed all day and night not sleeping. This is just no fare how in the world can he live in his own skin knowing what he is doing.
I have also tried calling him in a very nice way as well as nasty as I can be with out going to jail. You have no clue what this has done to me watching my parents be at the mercy of this dirt bag. He should be striped of any license they he holds he should never be allowed to do this to any person ever again what he as done to us. Please read below for a full detail of what has been going on.

Let me start from the beginning on May 11th my parent's house burned down to the ground. We then Hired D. S Construction on 11/15/05 contracts were also drawn up on November 15. The price to build my home was $282,500.00 we were promised everything under the sun and to date we have received nothing but stress and heart ach beyond belief. Like I said before the amount of the home to be built was $282,500.00 the builder was give to date $262,000.000 leaving a balance to be paid in the amount of $20,500.
No work has been done in the last 2 months other then some pluming work and electric roughing work. The house was left open for months with no roof or siding open to all elements, left wide open to water damage to all framing of the home. Builder was told from the start that the old home had water issues in the crawl space.
After new foundation was poured water issue returned and water continues to build up in crawl space and to date there has been no response due to this problem. There is no communication at all. We have called this builder hundreds of times and no response as well as no work being done.
Example weeks go by with no phones for any updates if builder does call he calls when ever he feels like calling and then comes up with every excuse that a person or in his case heartless person could come up with. Through out these painful 12 months there have been tons of issues like the windows, flooring, joists, and studs and still remain to date. There was a framing inspection done from the township of Hazlet on November 21st 2006 and they failed the inspection for a full page of reasons. It then took the builder 2 months to correct the problems. No calls at all like if he could care less.
Next time he was on the job was in Feb he then put up the sheet rock and then walked off the job again returning no phone calls at all. He then called toward the end of Feb and at that point he spackled please note the only time that he would do any little thing is when he wanted more money then he would work for a day or two and then not return to the job site or return calls. Please also note that there were many extra's that were paid for and we do not have them to date.
Just to try to make you understand what it is we are dealing with is the builder was give a total of $262,000. To date and this is what is done the foundation the framing the rough pluming and rough electric there are 3 bathrooms 1 has a tub 2- has a tub 3- has a shower pan. Siding was put up and there was also roughing for the stone that had to go up and was not put up. So as you can see he has all this money and nothing has been done.
Now we are at March 23 and we have not heard from this builder at all he walked off the job not returning any of our calls at this point we retained a lawyer. We are left with no more money to finish this home and paying a mortgage for a home that is sitting there empty. We also went to the police and they contacted the builder and the builder told the cop that he would go back on the job but once again a no show.
We also have reason to believe that this builder has built a new home for himself at the same time as our home was being built and used up all of the monies that were given to him to build our home and now has no money left for labor and materials to complete our home in a reasonable time frame.
Furniture for this home was ordered 12 months ago and can not be held in the warehouse this is only one example of the dilemma we are now facing. As a result of constant stress homeowner Maria is now suffering from stress related disorders cries all day long can't sleep worries about when she will return home as well was recently was taken to the hospital for lumps all over her breast and belly Dr. Told us that this lumps were all cased by stress he then asked if my mother was going threw a lot of stress we then told the Dr what has been going on. Stephen is a heart patient and the stress is becoming over whelming as well as a financial strain.
We want justice in this matter this has been nothing but a nightmare he can not be allowed to run off a job and steal money from people like he did to us and on top of it with out our home. He is a thief!!!
