Drafted money out of my checking account without my permission Ripoff

Last spring, my husband and I noticed a company named BlueStar Direct was making automatic drafts out of our checking account for $45-$60 every so often. The automatic drafts were set up in my madien name (we have been married for 3 years) so we were unsure what this was. There was a phone number listed on the automatic drafts. I called the number numerous times and was not able to speak with anyone, but was able to leave messages. None of my messages were returned. Our bank was gracious enough to reimburse us are money and helped us put a stop payment on the automatic drafts from BlueStar Direct at no charge. The stop payment only lasted 6 months and before we realized it had been 6 months, BlueStar Direct started to draft more monsy out of our account. This time it totaled about $300 for December 06 and about $100 so far in January (not to mention the Overdraft charges that occured since it was at the holidays). I attempted to call the number again and finally talked to someone!!! I expalined our situation and the lady was unwilling to cooperate with me. She asked me how much had been drafted out of my account so I read off some of the amounts to her. She then told me I had to speak with the accounting department and gave me their fax number and address. I asked for their phone number and the lady stated the accounting department did not take direct calls (wonder why). She then stated that I would have to fax them my bank statements that proved the transactions. I told her that was insane as they should have records of what they have drafted out of my account. She then stated that I needed to file a police report regarding them having my infromation and fax that to them also.

When asked how they have my information, the lady stated that you can sign up on line. When I looked at the registration page online, all it asks for is your name, address, and checking account information which anyone can get if you have written them a check!!!

Is there currently a lawsuit on BlueStar direct?
