I received a phone call offering me long distance and/or travel miles on an airplane. I told the telemarketer I was not interested in this. I was told there would be no charge and if I was still not interested I could just cancel the membership asd soon as I received it and would still receive the vouchers for me to keep. I was told there was a free trial period. I called as soon as I received the vouchers in the mail and got confirmed both vouchers were canceled. All of the sudden I noticed an electronic check I did not recognize taking $49.95 out of my checking account. I did not give them my account number either. I went straight down to the bank and disputed this since I did not recognizxe the name as anyone I have done business with. I got the charges reversed and am closing my account to open up a new account as instructed by my bank.
