Robert Rankin Argue is a dead beat dad. He has moved numerous times to avoid child support enforcement by the state of Utah. His son Steven is 19 years old, and is handicapped with Autism and does not qualify for disability. Robert Argue has contacted his son half a dozen times and came to see him once when he was 3 years old.
He makes promises to his son that he doesn't keep and avoids paying child support and taxes. Steven is ready to go to college and I cannot afford it. I would like to see Robert pay his support so that Steven can go to college. Utah's Office of Recovery Services closed the collection case when Steven turned 18 as uncollectible and father unlocateable.
In 1989 Paternity by default was established against Robert.in 1998 the State of Utah set child support at $196.00 per month of which "0" has been paid. He moves to avoid collection enforcement and changes jobs frequently or works under the table or as an Independent Contractor.
Robert Argue is the brother of Arkansas State Senator James Argue and the son of Methodist Minister the Rev. James Argue of the Arkansas. The Argue family has been uncooperative in helping me ro the state of Utah collect child support.
