I lost my cellphone when I was riding the bus one day. I ran to a payphone to call the bus compnay and could not find my calling card. I had heard that using your credit card was almost as cheap as using change. Since I had no change on my at the time, I thought this would be my best solution. I talked with someone at Legacy Long Distance and they told me it was $1.50 per minute. This seemed like alot, but I was not going to be on the phone that long. I made three phone calls that totaled less than 10 minutes all together. I was looking at my statement today and found that they were charging me $15.74 for 2 of the phone calls and $18.25 for the other one. This does not equate out to $1.50 per minute. This company is a big ripoff! I am going to try disputing the charges as it was falsely advertised to me how much the calls would cost. Do not use this service, unless you too would like to be taken for a ride.
