My, father past away 07/06 I was not notified until 5 weeks after his death when my mother called his brother his family did not notifie me & I did not get to attend his funeral, for the past 4 months my mother has been trying to get something done the corrner did not do an autopsy to find out how he died. My, dad did have a drinking problem in the past the death certificate said he died of alcohol poisoning but they put the cause of death natural, if they said my dad killed himself they would have marked suicide but they marked natural death.
But, my mother had got reports from the town preacher that he had been sober for 6 months he had a job & his own place & he was doing well with helping out in the town, my mother called the district attorney office but they refuse to do anything. My mother accepts foul play involed here because the preacher & deputy corrner keeps giving different stories to what had happen,
If my fahter was in distress like they said he was why did they call for help the they took is air conditing out from his window & in july it was 100 degress so he could have smothered to death but me & my mother do not know what really happen, just the stories we have been told.
The, district attorney investigator will not ask for an autopsy which by state law they are suppose to give one, we have not been getting anywhere in finding out what really happen & nobody will help us! These two people where checking on my fahter & this one said my dad had hundreds of dollars so he may have been robbed but we don't know what happen because noone will help us.
My, mother spoke to the police cheifhe said he did not go into my fahters place to check on him they said my father was drinking but my fahter would not let them in so how could they know what he was drinking, they said he had money somewhere what a thing to say if someone is in distress! So that let to my mother that he might of been robbed.
But, me & my mother cannot get nowhere noone will help us resolve this its just a big mess I did not no about my fahters death until about 5 weeks after his death my mother called the governors office & they will not help she explained the situation to them still not getting anywhere,
So mabye me filing this consumer complaints will help. My, mother supects foul play but we cannot prove this but if anyone can help me on consumer complaints I will gadly appericate it, my mother also cannot afford a lawyer which also makes things bad, this problem is being real frustrated.
