Needs to be put out of business

Is there anyone out there who is actually thinking about organizing a class action lawsuit against the BBB. I think at this point, with all the complaints, someone's gotta take a stand. If I knew the procedure, I would be down filing it right now. Here's my story:

I own a company, a credit repair company. Now, I know as a general history of companies like mine, there has been a lot of fly by night and scam companies out there, so as a whole, i know that the business rating is low.

When the letter grade ratings first started, we contacted the bureau because they gave us a "D" rating. I spoke to the people at the regional office, Gary Almond I believe the name was, and after some investigating, was told that they would give us a "B" rating, because of the fact that we are a bonded company, and registered with the Attorney Generals Office, and of course have never had a complaint. We were offered a membership with the bureau due to our outstanding record and good legal standing.in addition, we were told that if we kept up a good record, that rating would slowly go up.

Now, 2 years later, a month back, we were raised up to a "AAA" rating, probably the only credit repair company to ever reach that rating. Then our membership expired...

We start getting phone calls from sales reps asking us if we'd like to renew, and unfortuntatly, due to business being slow during the time that they called, I told them that right now we'll have to hold off on the membership until we get into better shape financially. Then a week later, we looked at our report, and low and behold. We're not "AA" instead of "AAA".

Then the downward spiral began as I monitered our file. Every couple weeks, we were dropped 1 rating. Once it hit "BBB", I called the office to find out why we were being dropped. The representative I talked to said that I'd have to talk to Gary Almond again, and that she couldn't help me. Then I looked at my report 5 minutes later, and it was dropped ANOTHER 2 grades to a "B".

I spoke to Gary Almond, and was told that ALL credit repair companies were dropped down to a B grade because of the industry standard and history, but of course he couldn't explain why it was steadily dropping ever couple of weeks, and of course we were being called and solicited to join every couple of weeks. I even pointed out several other well known companies in the industry to illustrate that if it was a industry drop, why hadn't some of the best known companies been dropped as well. His response was that he was going to drop their ratings right now.

This is crap! This is simply a ploy to punish people for not paying their membership fees. It's bad enough that this company has no power, and really provides no services for the money they take... The least they can do is actually give the companies on their database a fair report. But obviously that's last on their agenda.

If anyone's looking to sue the BBB, maybe under the business and professions code 17200, let me know, and I'll be right there with you.
