Credit Solutions of America, ripoff dishonest

Credit Solutions of America sells a product they cannot provide.

When starting the program I was told not to make any payments on my account so that they could get the best settlement. I also forwarded them my power of attorney and ciese of communications requests.

For the past six months I have been in the program I have not recieved one monthly "follow-up" call to discuss my progress. I also continued to recieve phone calls from my credit companies. Upon talking to them, they never recieved the cease of communications request.

I called Credit Solutions, and they said that they would contact the company. I was put on hold and in about four minutes the CSoA rep said that he has faxed them another copy. This happened five times and they still havnt gotten my request.

Upon having enough funds to make settlement on one of the accounts, I contacted their settlement department. They told me the amount that I would need in my account to begin my settlement.

The CSoA rep told me he would call me back on that Friday. Sure enough he never called back. Upon calling on Monday, they still havn't received word back from my credit company. It has been three weeks now, I talked to my credit company this morning and they showed no record of even talking to the rep. I was also told that my account was in danger of being "charged off". So I made a payment to delay the charging off.

After, I immediatly called CSoA to talk to a settlement rep. I was told that even though I had the funds to start settlement that they will not forward any settlement paperwork to the company until THE ACCOUNT HAS CHARGED OFF. This is because this is where they make their best settlements. So, I said that I would have to talk to their accounts department to take that account off of the program. I have been trying to get ahold of them, and have left several messages. But, still no luck.

So now I am having to do my own settlement, and still pay Credit Solutions their fee for doing nothing but ruining my credit. PLEASE, do not use this company. I truly regret ever talking to them.
