Myhusban and i thought we were buying a house for the first time for $110,000 we got on a program called PHFA for 3 years while we clean up our credit in the mean time we paid for the home and half the lease payment was to got to the downpayment. Well afer three years they decided to try to break the lease and evict us and we fixed up the house and did all the repairs out of our own pockets they wanted the house because it is worth 5 times the amount we were ready to buy it for. We were always on time with our payments but to them it did not matter. Michi said get out they served us with fake eviction papers and fake un-lawful detainers.
I responded to them she said no matter what you do i will never put that house in your name so we fought back and got another morgage company to give us a loan and we got the house but the thing is they put a clause in the contract that we cant take a loan on the house if we do we will owe them $177,500 because the house apprased at $325,500 they are now the silent partner for 3 more years and we also cant sell it or we will owe them. So if there is anyone else out there that has lost there home to PHFA there is a way to fight back i can tell you how. I beat them and won my home and now i am taking them to court. For false documents they made me think i was buying my home when i was not. I have a lease agreement and a purchase agreement. Now i need a lawyer they lied and i have proof. Watch out for the programs and real estate scams..
