I brought a car from Drivetime in Tampa, before a year was up I needed a new engine and a transmission. They did not seem to care that they sold me a junk car all Drivetime wanted was there increased payments for the car and added interested. I lose my breaks often and don't know what the problem is there, because I always have to have breaks installed. I paid for a new engine which was around $1300. Oo and it will cost another 1$1300 to put in the transmission.
Needless to say I do not feel safe driving this junk. I now have a car that will not go into reverse. They call everyday when my payment is late because of the repairs I have to make on the car. The payments are bi-weekly and are usually paid before the month's end, so payments are made within the month due, but they still call and call and call.
I will advise everyone that ask not to buy a care from them..
