I was awoken after a nap from heavy medication due to physical hadicap, the Travel Agents go direct told me about their DEAL! A free trip and phone card, While under sedation I gave them my account info and was ASSURED that I would not be charged for anything I did not want to order from them.
I called back later that afternoon and after my sedation wore off and realized that this is probably some kind of scam. I talked to another agent who again ASSURED me that I plainly and clearly said I wished to cancel all said information including and not limited to free vacation and phone card. They agreed to cancel all and in good faith in three business days returned to them all said materials and pamplets and phone card with canceled plainly written on all corespondance.
Approximately 20 days later I see charges on my bank account information. I called them the next day and could not find the agent who helped me. My bank will stop any further chages thank God. I will continue to call these people to get a refund. I hate to get my attorney to have to deal with this scam as it will only cost me the same in legal fees to get my money back.
