Purchase breeding/show bitch from this party. After almost 2 years had her first heat cycle. This indicates some problems from my research.
Dog failed to conceive when bred to outside male. On third heat bred to male here, produced a litter of 4. This dog was not show quality and though shown 8 times failed to receive a point in the show ring even with professional handlers on the lead. She battled a weight problem from 10 months on. Her breeder was informed of this on multiple occassions.
After litter was born we found out both this bitches sire and dam failed important genetic testing. We were never informed in the previous three years since purchase of said bitch.
This bitch had a weight problem that is a clear indicator that thyroid is involved. Her dam failed her thyroid test and was on medication all her life. Her sire had an eye problem that was never reported.
We have sought small claims action against this party for damages in this case as it was a clear fault that this breeder did not inform buyers of these dogs offspring of genetic problems that would have affected them being used as breeding dogs.
We have had contact with other individuals that have purchased genetically unhealthy or actual unhealthy dogs from this breeder. We encourage them to post their issues here.
