JB Hunt
Continued Employment, Discriminatory, Wage, Age Ripoff and Criminal Activity

Re; Lies, Liars, Employment/Labor harassment
This is my second time lured in to JB Hunt under false pretenses. Ths Company is a billion dollar company with idiots at the helm. My complaint will not receive a serious, educated response by criminals so I have deided to let ALL Americans know that my first compliant against managers Dave &Scott Garret went un-answered and they were promoted, this time: Todd Davis, Eli Harvey, Dawn Riley, Brenda, Jackie Williams, Toma Wrenwright, Darren Miller and Greg Harper, CEO are the most idiots I have ever had to work with & all are pathetic whites. I lost about $3000.00 by trusting this company again, I have four (4) other employees that say *^#@-u. I My advise is to sell their stock!

August 26

After airing my letter (below) to Mr. Greg Harper, CEO, on the Company message board, he returned a call stating" he'd seen the message, was interested in my viewpoint and wanted me to contact him at 800-643-3622, to make sure "we were on the same page". I returned his call and left him a message to which he never responded back.

Since then I have had multiple harrassing things done to me in the Kansas City Terminal that demonstrates a cruel result to my conveying serious Human Resources issues. I now know that Mr. Greg Harper, CEO, response of "same page" meant "we will harass you to the very end and make your employment stay a hell hole" to which I have the following examples. The end is true, " There are no good Trucking Companies - just good Drivers!"

1. Using my Social Security publicly, without privacy concerns and to my detriment, when speaking to Todd Davis, Employer Relations stated, "we are not doing anything wrong", I told them to use the alpha code or employee #.
2. When going into the Terminal to talk with Dispacther, Eli Harvey, (a prior driver made dispatcher) about detention pay he would only pay me 1 hour, I contested 15 minuetes more to 1.15= $4.25 more. To this he went into a verbal destructive chant of why, how and why not to pay because of drivers not being at the delivery place, drivers stealing, drivers lying about everything they do, etc. When I told him not to compare me with thieves/crook he immediately started another round of hateful reasons, " if every Driver wanted $4 JBHunt would go broke". I told him I worked for that 15minuetes I'm not asking for it for no reason, and I told him, that for $4.25 it was not warranted the hour long harassment, to which he said I was a conspiracy person.
3. This interaction with Mr. Harvey led me to talk with Jackie Williams in Employee Relations, I told her it was harassing, at part discriminatory and calling names to ALL drivers a very bad way to counsel an employee, she was to investigate, but has never called me nor done anything.
4. Dispather, Dawn Riley, was angry when I told her about drops I thought I should get paid for and she replied "that comes with the job". I sent her a reply stating" I will eventually get my money since I was a stockholder". She called me into the Terminal to state"why are you hostil?" I do not think that asking for my money was inappropiate but did tell her that if someone else is harassing her not to take it out on me. But I do think that sweeping a trailer, Passing a DOT inspection, Moving a Trailer to get to a Mty, things that Drivers do proactively should be paid.
5. After two (2) months I have found that my HUB miles were underpaid by 4000 miles verses paid miles. I called the Director of Employee Relations, because Jackie and Todd both claimed to be the Managers, I spoke to Toma Wrenwright, that made lots of questions, made her mind up that what I was claiming was inappropiate and hung-up on me twice before putting me on the phone with Darren Miller, Kansas City Terminal Manager.

He told me he could not pay me hub miles, but I told him I just thought 16% mile variance was excessive for a driver whom does NOT take the truck home or eats out and has an impeccable utilization rate. He said "you need to prove it" I told him these were very serious concerns, he agreed to review my file but has not done anything.
6. I also asked for June Fuel Bonus, since my Qualcomm System was damaged inappropiately by someone in the Kansas City Terminal, I was told I had to report it and when I told him I did he said nothing more. Again demonstrating a attitude of refusal to pay drivers for work done, earned and owed.

I have had to name names because the first time around the abusers were promoted within JB Hunt. Again I think these are unscrupulous Supervisors, Managers and Directors that do NOT understand what Drivers do for JB Hunt or them, but go out of their way to under-pay Drivers and they can cause havoc with Drivers, their records, their data and their pay.

These are people that promise but do not carry thru with anything but have you work very hard for very little pay, no recognition and zero appreciation - "out of sight = out of mind". Drivers have no recourse and no representation in JB Hunt. I will need to move on, I hope if someone needs an HR person, bilingual, Veteran, with Trucking experience you will contact me at* (ROR REDACTED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES)

Some day JB Hunt will be caught in a class action lawsuit for the millions of dollars swindled from Drivers (employees) for the gain of very few well-off white shisters!

Greg Harper, CEO

Thank you for participating in our training class, conference call and for your personal insight.in todays market very few CEO's have the courage to do what you did and trust it wasn't only a show. I'm a second timer with JB Hunt and have a lot to say but know since you are at the top you will have your own investigating to do.

This time around I would think I'd be hired in a quicker manner that turned out to be the same as any other new employee, its a waste of time and resources; to this I have to add I have never seen soo many mistakes by the recruiting team in any company before, again a waste of time and resources.

I was placed as "per diem" in error and this alone will cost me $250.00 for JB Hunt's mistake. Now I'm at a lower salary, working harder and have an administration "hostil" to my input. For example, my truck was not optimal so I wrote-up the deficiencies and learned my antenna adapter was stolen (I have no antenna now), they said they worked on the vehicule to which nothing is different and ignored all input. KC staff is arrogantly in favor of incompetence.

Greg Harper, CEO you mentioned the $10,000 difference in being employed at JB Hunt and I yet to see it, but it'll cost you precisely $10,000, if any new or re-hire leaves the Company, I cannot see the reason why your Staff, Dispatchers, Recruiters are soo arrogantly opposed to helping drivers?!

I'm sure if you were a driver and there was an opportunity to re-hire a good driver you would not be skimping on salary issues as I have been treated, your words were; " drivers should be paid more", did you mean it?

Then why all the skimpying from Recruiting and why are Dispatchers not paying for honest hard working items as; trailer move, extra unload, sweeping trailer, interest on scales and tolls after two (2) weeks, etc. I see a "profit center mentality" on the salaries of Drivers, but no hold back on administrative expenses!

I am a stockholder since my last hiring; I like how JB Hunt stock has appreciated but I think that if the Administration gets a pedometer and great perks, I should not be the one to get a plastic cup. Please remember that I'm for your attittude of more money for drivers but I think it has never gotten to those directly envolved with driver compensation, driver appreciation or driver valve. I leave you with these valuable information, if it is of any assistance I have a Human Resources Degree, speak Spanish and a Veteran.

Cordially,

P
