Jay Williams of J-Netics House of Fitness had an inappropriate affair with my wife while we were married which caused our marriage to end. Going to the gym should be about getting in shape. However, Jay allowed his relationship with my ex wife to become much more then simply working out.
At first, Jay and my ex wife would communicate with each other on my ex wife's cellular telephone almost daily, and numerous times during the day. My ex wife was not honest about the extent of their relationship, and ultimately it took a private investigator to reveal the truth.
It was discovered that the two of them would often meet outside the gym while I was at work. My ex wife operated her own business, and I also learned that Jay Williams would charge several of his clients for services by running the payments through her credit card machine.
After the private investigator found them spending a quiet Friday night at Jay's condo together, when I was told she was going out with girlfriends, I spoke with Jay on the telephone and his assured me that he would no longer meet with my ex wife outside of the gym. However, after he made such representations, I came home from out of town unannounced one night only to find Jay running out my fron door when I entered through the back door.
In hindsight, my ex wife now admits that her relationship with Jay was inappropriate. It is truly unfortunate as our young child is the one who has suffered from the divorce. I am in in favor of working out and staying in shape and I was told that my ex wife was simply getting in shape. However, in reality, my ex wife's relationship with Jay Williams and J-Netics was more than just exercise.
