At the end of jaunary, I responded to an ad by Levitz
furniture about a beautiful sofa that was on sale for $199.00 for that week end only. Like many other people, I rushed to take advantage of that deal. I paid about $141.47 which was half of the total including delivery and taxes. My delivery was set for the 1st week of March 06. ONe week before that date, I received a letter from levitz telling me the sofa is not available until march 15,06. I called and new delivery date was for March 18,06.
There was no delivery, no letter explaining why since then, until 2 weeks ago, I called the main office and was told my order was cancellled. Yesterday, I decided to go to the showroom to find out what happened. As soon I got there a west indian young lady dis played some ghetto attitude instead of telling why my order has been cancelled and my credit card never been credited. I got
so upset by their unrepentance that I decided to talk as loud as I could. I was even told they were going to call the cops to have me arrested for talking to them loud about my money they still have in their pocket. After a while, I left. I believe they never had that sofa. That ad was for the sole purpose of raising some funds. I would do what ever I can to have the state attorney office to investigate those criminals
