This company installed a porch attached to the back of my 96 year old grandmothers home. From day 1 it leaked, I was told "oh they always leak until they're adjusted" We told them that we didn't want to pay them the remainder of the money until it was leak free.
I followed up and called and called and they were always saying oh we'll be right out to fix it. Being that I didn't reside with my Grandmother she was told not to use the porch until it was fixed. So she never used til this day. I told them how they ruined the new rug and furniture that was put out there and they ignored that.
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and that got me nowhere, They turned it around and said if I wanted it fixed they would have to charge now to come out. This wasn't right from day one. The representative also stated that after the work was done I didn't want to give final payment. Of course I didn't THE PORCH LEAKED, she hounded me and called me and kept saying they'll fix it I'll come pick up the check wherever you are. If I said I wouldn't be home she insisted she'd meet me somewhere.
People in my grandmothers community asked about the porch and I told them all the horror of this porch. The reason I purchased this porch is because I relocated my elderly grandmother and her two sisters (one bedbound) in the home they lived in for 80 years they had a back porch. My aunt since passed away and the porch was NEVER used. This porch still sits there with mildew and mold and nobody can seem to help me. All these woman were and are in there 80's and 90's on fixed income so to pay almost 10000 dollars and have a useless porch was outright disgusting.
I would NEVER recommend using Quality Builders Inc in Dover Delaware. They didn't stand by their word and they delivered a product (overpriced) that never functioned from DAY 1. Also, had the nerve to get nasty when called to fix it and deny that anything was ever wrong.
