We contracted with KC Remodeling in 2006 to do several home reparis.included in that was a new front porch. The porch was built, as per our specs and we paid the bill in full upon completion of the job.
Several months later, we noticed the front porch began to slope and water would pool after a rain or snow fall. We called the contractor several times. We either left him a message on his voice mail or the voice mail box was full. After many, many tries at this, we did get a call from him. He came by last summer with his cousin and they looked at the porch. He agreed that it needed to be looked at by 'his' brick man and would be back in a week or so.
It's been almost one year since he's been here, hardly ever answered our calls and when did, he made an appointment to come to the house. But with each "no show" we bacame more and more annoyed with him. We felt that he had broken his promise to always come back, when we needed him to be here. He prides himself on his customer service!
The most recent appointment for him to be here was May 1st or 2nd and NO... He did not show up and no call either! The porch is sinking and I'm sure that if he'd just come back it could be repaired but if he doesn't we'll have no choice but to prodeed through the legal system.
