While an employee at McDonald's I was attacked by a manager, an hit repeatedly with a broom by another crew member a student at an alternative school! I reported the incident to several managers and other crew members also.
I have attempted to resolve the matter with the Company! Thes Attacks were unprovoked and created a hostile work enviorment! The training manual clearly states that they do not tolerate workplace violence yet, what are they doing?
I also reported this to this to the State of Kentucky Division of Workmens Compensation, due to OSHA Standards... A report of the Violence I suffered should have been filed! They never seemed to concerned... Perhaps because they or their friend's & family wasn't the one's assaulted?
It makes me wonder... Why have Laws that are suppose to protect us and yet... Do nothing to enforce them!!
