It started off to be great with pay, incentives, the people, and a sense of security. What happened? EVERYTHING! At first the company was very picky on who they hired, but they sure weren't picky with who they fired. How can a company fire great employees over something so peddy over a non business related email that the whole entire company is guilty for doing!
All the policies and procedures for loan servicing changed so much that no one was ever on the same page, even after 3 years of employment I still didn't know some of the answers. This company decided to hire a army of collectors for their loan servicing division thinking that they would grow but it all backfired on them. They hired people that had no experience in mortgage or collections, and hired supervisors with no management skills, and who were plain out *&*&* that were out to get you. Yes, im talking about the loan servicing division, and for those sups who love giving occurences for a death in the family and treating employees like kids, you all need to go supervise for the military.
Everyone here has been treated wrongfully and those of you who have went to human resources for your problems and nothing has been solved, well thats just they want to drive you out of the company so they don't have to pay a severance package to you when your time is up. So now they are taking away the flavored coffee machines because 2 supervisors were caught stealing loan information and selling it to brokers? Thats a great excuse!
Im glad I got out of there on time, I put in alot of time, effort, and money out of my own pocket to make the work environment good for my people and me, BUT I WAS RIPPED OFF by the lies. I really got sick of hearing customers talking bad about amc, but now I realize that they were not bullshiting, and they really were taken advantage of. Well after calling them 20 times a day on the 2nd of the month when the payment was due on the 1st, I understand the frustration.
We have all been taken advantage of, especially the Team Leads who were called "slaves", but were really the back bone for the company. Im sorry for those of you who were laid off today, Im personally sorry to the customers that I once believed to just be complainers, when they were really calling in with a legitimate issue, and Im sorry for those you who still work there. I know you are not happy! I give this company until Nov before loan servicing division is shut down. I suggest to get out now, because nothing you say or do at AMC will matter, it didn't when I tried to "DO THE RIGHT THING"!!
