I was trying to find some way to get money for a grant so I could move into a bigger house because my girlfriend and I were having our second child. Well, I got this green post card in the mail claiming that I was a possible qualifier for a grant of at least 5,000. And like a fool, I called the number. Well, I talk to some woman, she got my name, and social, and everything and redirected me to another number. Some man in a deep Barry White voice answered the phone and said that I qualified for the grant. But then he said that in order to receive the grant, I had to pay them 299 for their services. I told him that I would have to call him back. I talked to my girlfriend about it and asked her what she would do. I mean with a baby on the way, 299 was a lot of money. So being the cautios person that I am, I got on the internet and researched this company. Well, after I confirmed that they were scam artists, I called the number again and told them what I had seen on the internet, the response that I received was, "Well, we have to make money some how" followed by, "And if you wasn't such an A* hole, we would have your money too."
