I was scammed by Kensington Assistance Agency in March as well. They sent me a green postcard with a number on the back to call. I called the number and the gentleman I spoke with said I would need to pay 299.97 fee to start the grant application. I was then transferred to this lady who took my bank account information. I was then sent a questionnaire through mail which was completed and sent back to complete the process of getting the grant money. I really believe these people and thought I was going to get some money to help with school and certain bills.
I kept in contact with this agency to see when I will get the money and a lady said, " in July". Well July is almost over and their phone is disconnected. My instinct told me to go online and research this agency and that's when I found I was scammed. When I researched this agency in March, I got a website but now it's nothing.
I'm contacting my Attorney General and I'm sending him a letter along with reports other victims made against this agency. I really needed that money and I feel sad for others that were scammed. I prayed about this situation and we are going to get our blessing and the agency is going to get what's coming to them. We all need to stick together and speak out about this situation. God bless!
