This company called my wife one evening several years ago and said she had won' a gold watch. All she had to do was order some magazines and pay for them a few dollars a month. She went ahead and gave them a debit card number, and it has been a nightmare ever since.
Somehow the original order' has morphed into at least three accounts', (maybe four, I think one of the accounts finally expired in January) all of which seemed to be used to debit my bank account at will. The only way I could stop that was to close the bank account, since repeated requests to close the CRC accounts were ignored.
Now that CRC cannot debit a bank account, they are harassing my wife by phone. We have asked them to speak with me about the issue, and they refuse. We asked them to send a statement for the account and they refuse. They finally sent some bills, with no useable information other than how much money they want me to send and the account numbers that do not match. I don't recall ever dealing with such a deceptive and fraudulent company. Oh, and about the watch my wife had won'. It hasn't arrived yet, but I am sure it's on the way.
