Just like so many others, I too fell for this scam. I am college student from CA and I thought this would be a great family vacation to take with my family.
When I was notified over the phone, I accepted the deal and paid for the reservations not knowing that they were completely unrefundable. I did this over a year ago and Just Now found out about the company ripoff.
I need help getting my money back. I have NOT taken the vacation so feel I am entitled to get ALL of my money back. Luckily I have only given them $200, but when you're in college, that's a lot! I have already contacted them, and as usual they were not cooperative.
If anyone can help me get my money back, I would be very thankful. I am also preparing to do an internship for broadcast journalism this summer. I would have no problem putting this on the news for the whole city to see. I am prepared to take all steps to get my money back and expose this scam! I just need some advice on how to proceed.
